Description
If you are looking for a broad sampling of country gospel, 30 Traditional Bluegrass Gospel Power Picks: Vintage Collection is a convenient place to start. The material reflects the long bond between mountain music and the church, with an emphasis on message and harmony. Expect hymns and spiritual songs in an acoustic setting, where voices blend over guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle.
The Power Picks series was put together for listeners who want many tracks at an approachable price. The thirty numbers on offer give a wide view of the style. These are classic sides from an era when the music was still taking shape. The collection is offered on CD. It works equally well for focused listening and as background music at home.
It is well suited to quiet listening, family gatherings and Sunday afternoons. Browse the rest of the store for more titles in the same style.
