Description
Appalachian Breakdown Bluegrass Collection – Power Picks – 90 Classics is a multi-disc set designed for listeners who want a lot of mountain bluegrass in one box. The music draws on the mountain traditions of the Southern Appalachians, where so much bluegrass has its roots. The sound is built on the classic bluegrass lineup of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass.
The Power Picks series was put together for listeners who want many tracks at an approachable price. Ninety tracks make this a substantial addition to any collection. The title promises pickin’, and the instrumental work delivers that hands-on, front-porch feel. The emphasis is on vintage performances that have stood the test of time. All discs come together as one item.
It makes a good gift for anyone who enjoys acoustic music with a traditional flavor. Details on payment options and shipping are available on the How to Order page of this store.
