Common Strings – Somewhere In Glory

Description

On Somewhere In Glory, Common Strings offer listeners a straightforward helping of old-time gospel singing. Expect hymns and spiritual songs in an acoustic setting, where voices blend over guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. The material reflects the long bond between mountain music and the church, with an emphasis on message and harmony.

For listeners already familiar with Common Strings, this title is a natural next step. The album title itself sets the tone of faith and gratitude that runs through the music. It ships as a physical CD. Traditional music depends on being passed from one generation to the next, and recordings like this help keep it in circulation. The music speaks for itself, with little need for studio tricks or heavy production.

Listeners who enjoy uplifting music with a traditional sound will feel right at home with it. Check our Shipping & Ordering page for current delivery information.
