Description
Earl Taylor & Jim McCall with The Stoney Mountain Boys – 24 Bluegrass Favorites – The Best of Vintage 70’s is a mountain bluegrass release by Earl Taylor & Jim McCall with The Stoney Mountain Boys, available here in the Rural Rhythm Records store. It reflects the high, lonesome singing and driving rhythm that define bluegrass at its best. Listeners can expect the energy and acoustic drive that made bluegrass popular in the first place.
As a Heritage Collection Series title, it is aimed at listeners who value the original vintage sound. With 24 tracks listed in the title, there is plenty of music to explore. The release adds another chapter to the recorded work of Earl Taylor & Jim McCall with The Stoney Mountain Boys. Mountain imagery runs through the title, and the music matches that rural, hill-country feel. The word “favorites” in the title says it all: these are songs audiences have returned to again and again. It ships as a physical CD.
Fans of festival-style bluegrass will find it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Details on payment options and shipping are available on the How to Order page of this store.
