Description
Graves Mountain All-Star Jam (Rural Rhythm 55 Year Celebration Live Album) captures traditional bluegrass in a live setting. It reflects the high, lonesome singing and driving rhythm that define bluegrass at its best. The sound is built on the classic bluegrass lineup of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass.
Mountain imagery runs through the title, and the music matches that rural, hill-country feel. A live recording keeps the spontaneity and audience response that a studio session cannot fully capture. The live recording is offered on CD. It pairs well with other titles in the same category of our store. It works equally well for focused listening and as background music at home.
Fans of festival-style bluegrass will find it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Recordings like this are a reminder of how much variety exists within acoustic roots music. Questions about this title can be sent through our Contact Us page.
