Description
Here is their self-titled album from Hylo Brown and The Timberliners, a title that belongs on the shelf of anyone who collects classic country and early bluegrass. These are the kinds of songs that connected rural audiences to their music long before the modern country era. The sound draws on the older country tradition, where simple arrangements and plain-spoken singing carry the songs.
As a Heritage Collection Series title, it is aimed at listeners who value the original vintage sound. For listeners already familiar with Hylo Brown and The Timberliners, this title is a natural next step. This is a compact disc release. Rural Rhythm Records has long specialized in bluegrass, gospel and traditional country music, and this title fits naturally within that catalog.
It is a fine choice for anyone who misses the sound of old-time country radio. Check our Shipping & Ordering page for current delivery information.
