Description
Fans of mountain bluegrass will want to take a look at Legendary J.E. Mainer, Volume 4, credited to J.E. Mainer & The Mountaineers. The sound is built on the classic bluegrass lineup of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass. It reflects the high, lonesome singing and driving rhythm that define bluegrass at its best.
It belongs to the Heritage Collection Series, which keeps vintage Rural Rhythm recordings available to today’s listeners. Being volume 4, it pairs naturally with the other volumes featuring the same performers. The release adds another chapter to the recorded work of J.E. Mainer & The Mountaineers. The item is offered as a CD. The music speaks for itself, with little need for studio tricks or heavy production.
It makes a good gift for anyone who enjoys acoustic music with a traditional flavor. For information about ordering, payment and shipping, please see our How to Order page.
