Mike Scott – The Old Country Church (Appalachian Bluegrass Gospel Instrumentals)

Description

Here is The Old Country Church (Appalachian Bluegrass Gospel Instrumentals) from Mike Scott, a title that belongs on the shelf of anyone who collects bluegrass gospel. It is music that would feel at home at a Sunday singing, a homecoming or a quiet evening at home. The material reflects the long bond between mountain music and the church, with an emphasis on message and harmony.

It shows Mike Scott doing what they do best: playing and singing music that comes from the heart. The title’s mountain setting reflects the Appalachian roots of the songs and tunes. The title calls to mind country church services and Sunday singings, which is exactly the mood of the music. It ships as a physical CD. Rural Rhythm Records has long specialized in bluegrass, gospel and traditional country music, and this title fits naturally within that catalog.

Church groups and gospel fans alike will appreciate its sincere, unhurried approach. Check our Shipping & Ordering page for current delivery information.
