Description
Here is Volume Two from Red Smiley & The Bluegrass Cut-Ups, a title that belongs on the shelf of anyone who collects classic bluegrass. Tight harmonies and crisp instrumental breaks are at the center of this style. The sound is built on the classic bluegrass lineup of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass.
It belongs to the Heritage Collection Series, which keeps vintage Rural Rhythm recordings available to today’s listeners. This is volume two in its series, so collectors may want to look for the companion titles as well. It shows Red Smiley & The Bluegrass Cut-Ups doing what they do best: playing and singing music that comes from the heart. This is a compact disc release. The arrangements leave room for each voice and instrument to be heard clearly.
It is a solid choice for both longtime bluegrass fans and newcomers to the music. Browse the rest of the store for more titles in the same style.
