Description
Graves Mountain All-Star Jam (Rural Rhythm 55 Year Celebration Live Album) is a live album, offering traditional bluegrass as it sounds in front of a crowd. The sound is built on the classic bluegrass lineup of banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass. Tight harmonies and crisp instrumental breaks are at the center of this style.
Mountain imagery runs through the title, and the music matches that rural, hill-country feel. A live recording keeps the spontaneity and audience response that a studio session cannot fully capture. It is supplied as a compact disc. It works equally well for focused listening and as background music at home. The emphasis throughout is on honest, unpretentious performances.
It is a solid choice for both longtime bluegrass fans and newcomers to the music. Acoustic music like this rewards repeated listening, with new details emerging each time. For information about ordering, payment and shipping, please see our How to Order page.
