Description
20 Old-Time Favorites brings together the voices and instruments of Hylo Brown in a set rooted in old-time string music. Listeners who enjoy early country recordings will recognize the straightforward style and the storytelling in these songs. These are the kinds of songs that connected rural audiences to their music long before the modern country era.
It shows Hylo Brown doing what they do best: playing and singing music that comes from the heart. The word “favorites” in the title says it all: these are songs audiences have returned to again and again. The emphasis is on vintage performances that have stood the test of time. It ships as a physical CD. The arrangements leave room for each voice and instrument to be heard clearly.
Longtime fans of traditional country music will enjoy revisiting this style. For information about ordering, payment and shipping, please see our How to Order page.
