Description
Here is Sings Country Gospel Songs from Hylo Brown & The Timberliners, a title that belongs on the shelf of anyone who collects bluegrass gospel. The material reflects the long bond between mountain music and the church, with an emphasis on message and harmony. Expect hymns and spiritual songs in an acoustic setting, where voices blend over guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle.
The Heritage Collection Series focuses on the classic recordings that shaped the label’s catalog. The release adds another chapter to the recorded work of Hylo Brown & The Timberliners. The word “favorites” in the title says it all: these are songs audiences have returned to again and again. The item is offered as a CD. Many listeners find that this style sounds best played loud, with friends around.
Listeners who enjoy uplifting music with a traditional sound will feel right at home with it. Check our Shipping & Ordering page for current delivery information.
