Description
JE Mainer & His Mountaineers -18 Gospel Favorites is a old-time gospel singing release by J.E. Mainer & His Mountaineers, available here in the Rural Rhythm Records store. It is music that would feel at home at a Sunday singing, a homecoming or a quiet evening at home. The material reflects the long bond between mountain music and the church, with an emphasis on message and harmony.
It belongs to the Heritage Collection Series, which keeps vintage Rural Rhythm recordings available to today’s listeners. The performances by J.E. Mainer & His Mountaineers keep the emphasis on the song rather than on studio polish. The word “favorites” in the title says it all: these are songs audiences have returned to again and again. The item is offered as a CD.
It makes a thoughtful gift for family members who grew up singing these kinds of songs. Questions about this title can be sent through our Contact Us page.
