Description
This listing is for JE MAINER with RED SMILEY & The Blue Grass Cut-Ups, a recording from J.E. Mainer with Red Smiley & The Blue Grass Cut-Ups that sits comfortably within the mountain bluegrass side of our catalog. It reflects the high, lonesome singing and driving rhythm that define bluegrass at its best. The music draws on the mountain traditions of the Southern Appalachians, where so much bluegrass has its roots.
As a Heritage Collection Series title, it is aimed at listeners who value the original vintage sound. The performances by J.E. Mainer with Red Smiley & The Blue Grass Cut-Ups keep the emphasis on the song rather than on studio polish. This is a compact disc release.
It is a solid choice for both longtime bluegrass fans and newcomers to the music. For information about ordering, payment and shipping, please see our How to Order page.
