Description
For collectors who want to see the music as well as hear it, Lester Flatt DVD + a clip of Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen features Lester Flatt, with Charlie Waller and The Country Gentlemen on screen. These are the kinds of songs that connected rural audiences to their music long before the modern country era. Listeners who enjoy early country recordings will recognize the straightforward style and the storytelling in these songs.
Footage of this kind is valued by fans because it shows how the players worked together on stage. The item is a DVD for home viewing. The arrangements leave room for each voice and instrument to be heard clearly. Collectors of roots music will appreciate having this title on the shelf.
It is a fine choice for anyone who misses the sound of old-time country radio. Details on payment options and shipping are available on the How to Order page of this store.
